This is everything that your plumber will require to assemble a "Manual Town Tank Switching" unit. The unit is installed and connected to the town mains water supply, the Grundfos pump drawing water from your tank and, the house. When you have rainwater in your tank, the tank valve is open and the town mains valve is closed and you are operating on rainwater. If you run out of rainwater in the tank, close the tank valve and open the town mains valve - it is that simple. We supply this equipment as individual "Watermark Approved" components so that your licensed plumber can assemble them and install the unit to comply with all regulations. "Back flow prevention" is carried out by the dual check valves and these also prevent town mains entering your tank and, tank water entering the mains. When you have rainwater in your tank, the Grundfos CH2-40-BK pump (or larger) will automatically use tank water and, if the tank runs out of water, the town mains water will automatically flow instead of the pumped water. In the event of a power failure, town mains water flows automatically. Town Tank Water Switch with Automatic Minimum Water Level Control
This is our "Town Tank Switch" unit which is supplied as individual "Watermark Approved" components ready for the plumber to install. We supply the unit with all electrical components wired, connected and tested by our electrician and the unit is supplied with 8m of electrical cable and a transformer in a weatherproof enclosure. The "Town Tank Switch" will make sure that you always have a minimum of 150mm of town mains water in your water tank so, when it does rain, there is plenty of empty space in the tank for the rainwater.
Grundfos CH2-40BK Automatic Horizontal Multistage Pressure Pump
The Grundfos CH2-40BK is a fully automatic horizontal multi-stage pressure pump suitable for use with our Manual or Automatic TTS unit. When drawing water from a rainwater tank, the CH2-40BK will provide a flow rate of 30 L/Minute at 300 kPa or, 45 L/Min at 250 kPa. Extremely quiet operation, fully automatic with "run-dry" protection, stainless steel internals and a 2-year warranty. Like any pump, the CH2-40BK must be installed under a pump cover and we expect a well installed pump to last 12 - 18 years.
Grundfos CH2-50BK Automatic Horizontal Multistage Pressure Pump
The Grundfos CH2-50BK is a fully automatic horizontal multi-stage pressure pump suitable for use with our Manual or Automatic TTS unit. When drawing water from a rainwater tank, the CH2-50BK will provide a flow rate of 20 L/Minute at 420 kPa or, 40 L/Min at 330 kPa. Extremely quiet operation, fully automatic with "run-dry" protection, stainless steel internals and a 2-year warranty. Like any pump, the CH2-50BK must be installed under a pump cover and we expect a well installed pump to last 12 - 18 years.
