Budget Pumps
These are our "Budget" pumps and they are all suitable for use with a rainwater tank. Our budget pumps are supplied with a full 12-months warranty and are a good quality item which will last for many years when covered and protected from the weather. We buy these items in bulk and pass the savings on.
This is the smallest of our "J-Pump" units but don't let size fool you as this little pump will be just perfect for use with a single garden hose or up to 180m of Drip-Line or even as the supply for a pressure washer, toilet or washing machine. The turbine and in fact the complete wet-end part of the pump is manufactured from bronze so it will not corrode or rust and will operate perfectly for many years. Capable of a maximum pressure of 450 kPa and a useable flow of 10 litres per minute at a high pressure of 320 kPa or a flow of 20 litres per minute at 220 kPa, this pump comes complete with a fully automatic electronic controller that will turn the pump on when you open the valve and, turn the pump off when you close the valve. The controller also provides protection so that when your tank does run out of water, the J-Pump controller will turn the pump off to prevent damage. The LF2-40 is perfect for installation on any rainwater tank to supply water for irrigation, car washing, boat washing or even for the toilets and washing machine or pressure washer. The J-Pump LF2-40 will provide a flow of 18 L/minute at a pressure of 350 kPa or a flow of 50 L/minute at a pressure of 220 kPa making it suitable for drip irrigation and sprinklers or sprays as well. The automatic controller turns the pump on when a valve or tap is turned on and keeps the pump running until the valve is closed. In addition, the controller will automatically turn off the pump when your tank runs out of water providing "run-dry protection. This is a professional quality fittings kit with everything required to connect your new pump to a rainwater tank. The kit includes 1m of heavy duty flexible suction hose, 25mm brass one-way valve, heavy duty Norma stainless steel clamps, nyglass ball valve, nipples and, a garden hose click-on fitting for easy connection of the garden hose to the pump outlet. Includes everything you need and - it is pre-assembled.
