Controllers are simply electronic timers that are programmable to switch irrigation valves on and off at specified times. Some controllers are simple single or dual program units like the Slim Dial while the more functional controllers like the Total Control series, are able to perform far more complex irrigation sequences and may be connected to a computer or even linked with radio telemetry.
